Hanna Instruments HI 9828/4 Multiparameter Water Quality Portable Meter with 4 mt Cable, 115Vdc Overviews Product
The HI 9828/4 portable water-quality meter is a comprehensive device capable of measuring 12 different water quality parameters including pH, EC/TDS, ORP, DO, atmospheric pressure, and temperature.
The HI 9828/4 is capable of holding up to 60,000 samples with 12 measurements each. Parameters measured include pH, mV of pH input, ORP mV, ammonium, chloride, nitrate, conductivity, TDS, resistivity, salinity, seawater specific gravity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, atmospheric pressure, and temperature. The meter also has a quick calibration feature that verifies probe functionality and does a calibration with a single calibration solution, eliminating the need to carry around multiple solutions in the field.
With Hanna Instruments Fast Tracker Tag Identification System and internal GPS, test logging is simplified by placing iButton tags containing a stainless steel encased computer chip with a unique identification code at various sampling sites. iButton tags can be screwed into place at various sites, and easily read by touching the meter to the tag to record location, date, time and water quality measurements at tagged locations.
The HI9828/4 tester functions and provides automatic temperature compensation (ATC) in temperatures of -5 to 55 degrees C (23 to 131 degrees F) (accuracy + or - 0.15 degrees C; + or - 0.27 degrees F; + or - 0.15K), and has a range of pH 0.0 to 14.0 (+ or - 0.05pH). pH testers are used for measuring the acidity or alkalinity of a substance and are utilized by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists. Laboratories, environmental field research, and beverage manufacturing are among the many situations in which pH meters are depended on for quick and accurate pH measurements.
Hanna Instruments manufactures a wide variety of analytical instrumentation, including pH meters, multi-parameter meters, electrodes, chemical reagents, and buffer solutions. Founded in 1978, Hanna is headquartered in Woonsocket, RI, with subsidiaries in 32 countries. Hanna Instruments holds many firsts in the field of analytical instrumentation, including a pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor, an electronic pocket-sized pH tester, and a replaceable electrode pH pocket tester. To ensure the quality of its products, Hanna is a vertically integrated manufacturer and does not subcontract any part of its manufacturing.
